Most nylon tricot used for the manufacture of panties exhibits a texture on the inside called "calendaring". This photomicrograph shows this texture close up. You can see this easily on cheap fabrics, and even perceive it on more quality materials, like AntronIII® by draping the material over your finger and running your fingernail across it.

This texture gives the fabric something of a rough texture to the touch, just what you don't want in your panties. This type of fabric is less expensive to manufacture, that's why most lingerie companies use it.

The nylon fabric we use exhibits no calendaring as you can see in this un-retouched photomicrograph. This give it it's extremely smooth texture.

This material has a very smooth hand, and the soft texture makes this the ideal fabric for top of the line "designer quality" panties.

Yes, it does cost more than the usual material, quite a bit more actually, but to be honest, we just had to use the smoothest, softest nylon we could find to create our panties. Combine this material with our unique design and you have panties that are like no others made anywhere.
